    UNCG is proud to be the first university in North Carolina to offer a Master of Arts degree and post-baccalaureate certificate in the growing field of Conflict Resolution. All courses for the degree and certificate are offered online. There is also a face-to-face in-class option.

    Conflict Resolution is a unique and dynamic field of study offering professional training for adults eager to expand their career opportunities. Conflict Resolution skills add a valuable and timely interpersonal dimension in the areas of mediation, community development, human resources management, social work, and business consulting, to name just a few. The UNCG Conflict Resolution curriculum is a rich and challenging interdisciplinary program that draws from law, psychology, human resources, anthropology and sociology disciplines. Skills and strategies learned over the course of study become life-long tools for promoting peace, collaboration, and dialogue in all areas of life.

    Our goal is to mold thoughtful and insightful conflict practitioners - professionals with a critical understanding of theory and method, and a deep appreciation of diversity, human rights, and personal responsibility.

    Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Information Technology

    The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Information Technology is intended for professionals from all industries, functional areas of business, and academic backgrounds who are interested in advancing their understanding of technology and its application in the business environment. This online program is designed to provide you with state-of-the-art knowledge and skills in information technology and upon completion of this program you will be prepared for the challenge of developing and managing an information system within an organization.

    Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Information Assurance, Security and Privacy

    As advances in information technology have made it easier to collect, store, process, and generate data at a staggering rate, concerns over the security of what is collected and the potential for security breaches and personal violations have also increased substantially. To meet the demand of organizations and government agencies for employees skilled in information security and privacy, the Bryan School of Business and Economics offers this 12 credit hour, online, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Information Assurance, Security and Privacy.

    Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics & Transportation Management

    If you work in or want to work in supply chain, logistics, health care, distribution, manufacturing, transportation, or warehouse management, the Bryan School's Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Supply Chain Logistics and Transportation Management equips you with the valuable, in demand, skill set that can be used in all of these industries and more.

    The program is intended for professionals who want to gain relevant, state-of-the-art knowledge and skills within the value chain so as to enhance organizational performance. The certificate program consists of a minimum of 12 credit hours of coursework.

    Post Master's Certificate in Advanced School Counseling


    The online Post-Master's Certificate (PMC) in Advanced School Counseling is a certificate intended for counselors who have at least two years of counseling experience in a school setting, who are fully licensed (M level) as a school counselor in North Carolina, and who have a Master's degree in counseling (48 hours minimum). The UNCG Department of Counseling and Educational Development is working on mechanisms by which fully licensed school counselors with a less than 48-hour Master's degree can become eligible to apply to the program.     Technology orientation for online learning is offered to new students at the start of each term. The department typically offers two courses per semester.

    This online certificate teaches new skills and fosters professional networking among the school counselors across the state. Completion of the certificate has the potential for salary increases as specified by NCDPI policies.
